Sarasota Zen Center hosts a sunrise meditation in the Zen Way of “just sitting” on the second Sunday of every month. Meditation starts fifteen minutes before sunrise. Please join us in a 20 minute sitting followed by a 5 minute walking meditation and then finishing with a second 20 minute sitting (Please visit our website for more information). No experience is necessary. All are welcome. Bring your own cushion or chair and/or a beach blanket to sit on. Join us in welcoming the day in this simple but powerful practice.
